So, right now im at the Houston airport, waiting for the last bording call.
this is my third plane.. yeah.. XD


So this morning all went smoothly, there wasnt much ppl at the line, got my tickets, passed through security, ate a "bocata", boarded the plane..
All good.
I had to make 2 more connections, but I was confident.
So far..

I had some trouble with my hand bag wich is too little to big by just centimeters, so they had to take it away and check it in, and a rude lady that worked there told me that I shouldn use that bag anymore, (too bad cause its my roomate's and it has to get back to Madrid!)
Anyway.. rude ladies aside, at the plane I met Tamara, a nice girl from Castellon and we talked a lot about silly things, but it was really fun. I watched Ratatuille again, and this movie 'bout a cheetah.. XD

So.. we get to Newark and Tamara and I decided to try to get out first to pass the passport control quickly. We were the first ones of our flight in the line, but got the sloooowest police dude, I mean lots of other ppl that came after us took less to get through in other lines.

And I had only one hour and fifteen minutes to get to the plane!!

It was madness! so close to the time, my bags were on time, but the one they had to take away was nowhere to be seen, after 15 or more minutes of asking it appeared and i rushed to airport security, you know the drill, take out you lappy, take off your shoes, etc..

Well to make the story short, I barely made it to the plane, they had even close the door for boarding! and then all the same thing with my non fitting hand bag.. XD
so after sweting a little I finally sat down and tried to breathe..
then..

I watched Stardust in english! wiii! so happy was I! XDD

We arrived to houston half an hour later, but no biggie cause I had like 2 hours or more to spend and no airport security, yay!
By this time I had lost Tamara cause her connecting flight was to Minnesota and not Houston, and couldnt even say g'bye cause of my rushing... =S But I have her email, so thats cool! =]

So here I am, after browsing a bookstore and eating half a delicious piece of chocolate cake, waiting for them to board us, wich they just started.. so yeah.. Im gonna leave this here and be ready to be called anytime soon..

So...

I was suposed to board a plain this morning..

I got there early, followed the line and such..
Then when I get to the counter to check-in, turns out that my bags were overweight (no surprise there) but within the limit. Ok, so I have to pay 50dlls? ok no biggie..

BUT

Turns out that effective this year because of the hollidays, its not posible to go to Mexico with overweight baggage.
When i heard this I went pale.. What should I do? the nice bald man suggested calling someone and taking some of the weight off my bag, but.. who was I to call? i have no one here.. and my roomate and friend, Gari, who so nicely drove me to the airport, was at work and there was no way in hell he could get out or be there in time or whatever...

Fortunately, there were still seats on the next day's flights (yeah i have to change planes twice) and he got my tickets changed. So that was it, i had to pay 50dlls for the flight change... =S And come back home to get weight off my bag.


And then I had no money for the taxi, only credit card, so after learning that the only 2 ATMs at the airport werent working, i tried to call a friend to pick me up, but her mother had taken the car to work, so no help there, then i decided to take a taxi. After breathing a LOT, i calmed down and i told the taxi diver what happened, he was very simpathetic and nice, then i had to stop shortly to withdraw cash, and then continued home.

So here is the thing, I had 60 kg in 2 huge bags and two floors of stais and only my little me (ok, maybe not little) to carry them up. I mentioned it jokingly to the taki driver, and he offered to help me get them up for just a couple extra euros. And he did, and as we were at the bottom of the stairs, one of my unknown neighbors was comming and helped me with the other bag while the taxi driver got up with the other, they were so niice! ^__^ It totally cheered me up.

So yup.. kind of an eventfull morning, wouldnt you say? XD

Im going to try again tomorrow, I hope everything goes smoothly and uneventfully.. and nicely.. and so..

Darn it... there were cute guys on today's flight...

I hope tomorrow's has cute guys too!

Wish me luck! (with the flight and bags!) XD
